About This Event

This event is designed to give beginner divers experience with the basics in the ultra-shallows diving in tide pools. We will focus on getting comfortable using a mask, snorkel, fins, duck-diving, breath hold improvement, equalization and will spear and forage the shallows for various fish and shellfish species. Divers will stay between 3ft deep and about 8 ft deep for the outing and will find abundant wild mussels, delicious native rock crabs with opportunities for finding fish as well!

Previous dive experience is not required (though you do need to know how to swim). You will need to bring your own dive gear or rent dive gear for this outing which is typically 50-$70/day from a local dive shop. I am happy to provide dive gear rental suggestions upon request (please email me for info/suggestions). The exact meeting/dive location will be emailed to you with confirmation of purchase.
